These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VideoToBe and its services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. For how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Recording Consent and Your Responsibilities

VideoToBe lets you record, upload, and transcribe audio, video, and live meetings. You are solely responsible for using these features legally and responsibly.

  • Follow the law where you are. Recording laws differ by country and by U.S. state. Some states require the consent of all parties before a call or meeting can be recorded, others require only one party. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you and to everyone in your recording.
  • Get consent and never record in secret. Get whatever consent the law requires from the people you record, and tell them clearly that recording is happening. Do not use VideoToBe to record anyone secretly or without the consent the law requires.
  • You are responsible for your content. By uploading or recording, you confirm you have the right and the consent needed to record, upload, and process that content. If you record someone unlawfully or without consent, you are responsible, not VideoToBe.
  • VideoToBe is a tool, not a party to your recordings. We provide the software. We are not responsible or liable for how you record, who you record, or what you do with the results. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to hold VideoToBe harmless from any claims arising out of your recordings or your use of the Services.

2. Acceptable Use

You are responsible for the content you upload, record, and process. You must not use VideoToBe for any unlawful purpose, or for content that is unlawful or not safe for work.

Do not upload, record, or process:

  • Nudity or sexually explicit images or video.
  • Pornography or any other sexual content.
  • Any other material that is not safe for work (NSFW).

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
